For this Month’s #TORCTopTipsForTenants we are asking our residents to check their Thermostat if they are experiencing issues with their heating.
The TORC Maintenance team have been called out a number of times by residents over the last month to fix heating that was ‘not working’. However, when the technician arrived, he discovered that there was nothing wrong with the heating – only that the wall mounted Thermostat was set to a temperature below 18 degrees. This is what was making the house/apartment feel cold.
So, if you are experiencing problems with your heating – check the thermostat first! and if a problem still persists, then contact the TORC Helpdesk.
